About Me
Diane Huyck is a graduate from California Institute of the Arts where she studied and practiced Set Design for Theatre and Film.
After graduating in 1995, she set out to work in Hollywood, California in both Theatre and Film.
Diane learned many painting techniques and "tricks of the trade" during her days as a scenic artist.
She quickly progressed from Scenic Painter to Set Decorator and finally to Art Director for several films, television, and commercials.
It was during this time when she met many future clients for designing private events and interiors.

Diane will share her basic principles of design and help you with your furniture placement and color choices.
Her creative experience includes event planning, decorative painting, fine art, interior design, furniture painting, project management, and staging homes for sale.
Her work can be seen in restaurants and commercial buildings throughout Los Angeles, and currently in the Frederick and Washington DC area.
